The purpose of committees is helping member companies to improve their organizational capabilities, serving as a resource for member companies with respect to business & finance, HR, IT & telco, marketing & communications or real estate related issues and help member companies maximize their membership and market its benefits to clients.
Committees are composed of experts in each respective area, and are charged with preparing activities and publications that will help companies enhance their intelligence, refine capabilities and improve their practices through the sharing of information, ideas and best practices various member companies have.
Committees organize events such as talks, edu briefs, seminars, panel discussions and roundtables to facilitate this sharing of knowledge.

The Committee covers marketing, communication & PR. Activities cover latest trends, social media appereance, PR activities like Quo vadis, Czech media? event or Political marketing for business event. Edu brief e.g. on GDPR, interactive workshops etc.

Human Resources Committee
HR Committee is the platform for regular meetings of HR professionals. HR Committee mission is the platform for discussing challenges in the area of human resources and a catalyst of change to resolve these challenges. Activities are focused primarily on providing our members with insights, latest trends and opportunities for further development in the area of human resources. HR Committee meetings and organized activities that serve as a way of sharing experience and have educational format. They shouldn´t be used as a selling point of company goods and services.
Committee is composed of the core members and observers. Member willing to be a core member applies for a core status which needs to be approved by the Committee chairman and AmCham representative. Core members attend the Committee meeting on the regular basis (at least 70% of the meetings). Core members have a decision-making power based on the opinion of the majority and respecting goals and objectives of AmCham. Maximum 20 core members of the Committee allowed (of which 50% service providers and 50% HR corporate representatives).
