AmCham Technology Council discussed with Brno City Hall how company R&D support in Brno area can be enhanced

AmCham in cooperation with Brno City Hall held a workshop on how to increase company R&D and innovation in Brno area.

AmCham members discussed in Brno the currently available tax support to company R&D, including talent attraction and retention.

Brno's potential can be developed beyond its current shape. Cooperation between companies, (local and national) government and academia is the way forward. For companies, it is important that any current or planned tools are tax-deductible and the administration and/or application of these tools is user-friendly. There should also be a strong link to education and talent development, and alignment with the Big Bets concept.

Thank you to Anna Putnová, Brno Council, responsible for innovation and cooperation with research organizations, Martin Příborský, Brno Council, responsible for strategic development, metropolitan cooperation and integrated territorial investments (ITI), František Kubeš, Brno City Hall, Department of Strategic Development and Cooperation, Jakub Rybář, Brno City Hall, Department of Cooperation and Development and Daniel Kába, tax advisor for your insights.
