Should all companies pay their fair share of tax? Yes. The combination of the EU Common Market and virtual goods make determining what is fair very complicated.
Instead of a national solution that is almost certain to provoke damaging retaliation, the best solution to a digital services tax may be to give the OECD a chance to succeed, or fail, to establish an international model for taxing digital services. That is what we have advocated in the government and parliament.
