AmCham Intel with Tomáš Pojar: Economic security is built on better technology, and being better at developing technology in Czech universities and company research laboratories

AmCham CZ debated how Czechia's place in the world has shifted, and how keeping it secure has evolved with Tomáš Pojar, the Czech National Security Advisor.

As Dalibor Kačmář of Microsoft, Jan Stanko of Oracle, and Bedřich Max Luft of Google explained, coordination between public and private, and across national borders, provides the best defense in situations when hospitals or energy networks are disrupted.. AmCham Vice-President Ondřej Krajíček of Y Soft added that not only does this boost our defense, but having networks that flow across borders helps Czech entrepreneurs advance throughout Europe.

We spent some time discussing economic security. For AmCham, that security is built on better technology, and being better at developing technology in Czech universities and company research laboratories. Being a technological superpower can be a form of defense (see Taiwan and semiconductors), as well as increase our importance as allies.
