AmCham Dinner Series kicked off

Will the government recognize the opportunity sustainable technologies represent to make us an innovation hub of the global economy? Will economic development and standard-of-living pressures take priority over who holds political power in the land use process? How are businesses in Ukraine managing to keep that economy strong enough to fight a war?

These were some of the items discussed when AmCham CZ held its Winter Repast at the Prague Marriott Hotel last week with a roomful of the country's brightest business minds. The conversation was led by Michal Nebeský, Munir Nanji, Pavel Sovička, Milan Šlapák and our board lead for innovation Jaroslav Škvrna. We were fortunate to be joined by Yuliya Badritdinova who runs the McDonald's operation both here and in Ukraine, and is a member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine board of directors.

Our letter on innovation (sent out recently) should spur greater alignment.

More details in a post by Weston Stacey, AmCham Executive Director.
