AmCham CZ: How much courage do we need for good quality public procurement? workshop on June 6 in Jihlava - presentations and photos

On June 6, about 50 representatives of hospitals and medical devices companies met to attend the presentations and workshop How much courage do we need for good quality public procurement? about implementation of MEAT quality criteria public procurement in hospitals.

The event was held at the Vysocina Region Regional Authority with participation of Deputy Governor Vladimír Novotný and representatives of Vysocina Region healthcare department.

The press release available here or attached.

The speakers presented two interesting ways to improve the value of what hospitals purchase. The first is to combine procurements in a large association to improve benchmarking of products and to increase savings. The second is to assign a monetary value to quality criteria. Both have really good track records in Europe, and both could help hospitals here get even better performance.
