Let´s enter the new dimension of volunteering!
AmCham members through One World Many Voices project help to restart existing online platform for volunteering in Czech Republic, namely Dobrovolnik.cz, Databaze.Dobrovolnik.cz and Volunteer.cz create one website, which will combine the strengths of all three. Whole project is inspired mainly by the online platform of New York Cares and Do-it.org. HESTIA – National Volunteer Center is managing this project, coordinating IT solution, user testing, cooperation with current users, charities involved in project, coordinating of promotional campaign, reporting, measuring the impact of project etc.
We want to create the space for inspiration in volunteering action, the space, where citizens can be easily involved in voluntary activities and third sector (all non-profit, charitable organizations) and public administration organizations as well as individuals can find supporters and volunteers for their programs, iniciatives and activities. Funds to this One World Many Voices (OWMV) project were raised in Silent Auction and by special contributions from corporations purchasing Corporate tables at AmCham Thanksgiving Ball.
