Letter of Resignation of Dan Ťok as the President of the American Chamber of Commerce in the Czech Republic

Dear Member of AmCham,

After lengthy consideration, I have accepted the offer to serve as the Minister of Transportation, starting December 4, 2014. For this reason, I must resign as President and member of the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce in the Czech Republic.

My final act as President will be to attend and the address the Thanksgiving Ball on November 22nd. As of today, I have asked AmCham first vice-president Zdenek Vilimek to carry out my other functions, and I will recuse myself from any discussion of AmCham policy. A new president and a new board member will be appointed in a short time; you should receive more information in a separate communication.
