AmCham Thanksgiving Ball raised CZK 478 036,- to fund projects that will support local associations and schools in making their community a better place to live and work
On Saturday, November 22, AmCham organized its traditional Thanksgiving Ball for its members and their clients at the Žofín Palace. The evening was in the spirit of social responsibility. Thanks to the ball´s attendees CZK 258 036,- was raised during the Silent Auction. Together with CZK 220 000,- donated by members when purchasing corporate tables the total raised was CZK 478 036,- for AmCham One World, Many Voices program.
All proceeds raised will be granted to local associations and schools to help make their communities better places to live and work.
Active participation in our communities is not only beneficial for our society, but also helps building trust among people, which is crucial for democracy.
