AmCham Wings Awards - nominations open

AmCham would like to announce opening nominations for AmCham Wings Awards.

This year AmCham extends its Wings award to the field of community involvement - there will be two Wings awarded.

AmCham Wings for a member will be awarded to an individual who has made significant contributions to AmCham activities in the course of 2013. These acts should not only have brought a benefit to the AmCham, but to the business community as a whole. The time and talents of AmCham members are what make the organization thrive. Without the voluntary efforts of dozens of members throughout the year, our organization would not be able to advocate new reforms, organize insightful seminars, and make the connections that bring greater prosperity to the country.

And newly, the other Wings will be awarded to a community leader who has done the most to improve the community in the Czech Republic over the recent past. By this award, AmCham would like to recognize those citizens, who are not unconcerned by current societal issues, take the active role and lead the change to significant improvement.

From now until October 25^th, 2013 AmCham would like you to nominate other member and/or a community leader for the AmCham Wings Awards. AmCham CSR Committee will evaluate community leaders’ nominations and recommend 3 best nominations to the AmCham Board of Directors. The AmCham Board of Directors will review all nominations and select winners in both categories. The AmCham Wings will be ceremonially awarded at the chamber 2013 Thanksgiving Ball at Palác Žofín on November 23rd.
