Internship program for disadvantaged and socially excluded youth

The US. Embassy, Open Society Fund and AmCham began an internship program for disadvantaged and socially excluded youth this year. Please see the attached information about the program.

For interested companies, Ambassador Eisen plans to host a networking luncheon in September. If you are a company committed to diversity, that can open a temporary intern or trainee position for disadvantaged young people, please do not hesitate to contact Marcela Entlichova of the U.S. Embassy at EntlichovaM@state.gov. You can consider positions with various levels of qualification requirements.

If you are interested in detailed references how a company can be involved, feel free to contact Monika Ladmanová of IBM (monika_ladmanova@cz.ibm.com), who can discuss IBM’s experiences with this program, specifically with employing an intern from Roma minority.
