Insolvency proceedings Position Paper - CZ&EN version
The American Chamber of Commerce Position Paper on How to Resolve Current Issues in the Area of Insolvency proposes that the competent public authorities (including public prosecutors' offices and police authorities) create, each within their sphere of responsibilities, conditions that allow them to identify and continuously assess the actual state of affairs regarding the exercise of their powers and duties in insolvency matters, and regarding the effective and timely enforcement of the rules. In this respect, the Position Paper emphasizes consistent enforcement of existing rules (as being preferable to the introduction of new rules), and therefore suggests the public authorities in the Czech Republic particularly focus on specific areas.
