Andrew Schapiro, US Ambassador met with AmCham members

On December 10, AmCham members met with U.S. Ambassador to the Czech Republic Andrew Schapiro at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. In his remarks, the Ambassador discussed the significance of the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), maintaining united diplomatic pressure against Russia through sanctions, and the importance of good governance and anti-corruption initiatives. He encouraged members to break the chain of corruption by remaining steadfast and united in combatting such activity in the business community, and added that an active and engaged civil society is one of the most important hallmarks of ensuring good governance.
