Public registry of contracts - Transparency as a competitive advantage

Seven chambers of commerce including AmCham representing companies operating in the Czech Republic sent an official letter to Parliamentarians stating that the current bill on public registry shall be a political priority. As employers creating thousands of jobs in the Czech Republic, these companies care about effective decision-making, quality and public trust. AmCham has had a series of meetings with representatives of municipalities and the government to specify how can public registry of contracts prove the effectiveness of decisions to the public and fulfil the government´s responsibility to the citizens.
