Ministry of Education: Draft Act on Universities and public research institutions

Draft Act contains systemic changes are needed to ensure public confidence in university education and its institutions and  the results of their activities and to promote the competitiveness and performance of education. The main topics covered by the amendment: 1) Profiling 2) Quality Assessment and Accreditation 3) Consolidation 4) Personal autonomy 5) Organizational autonomy 6) tte possibility of establishing a public research institutions 7) Financing 8) Other modifications, The proposal is in ongoing external comentary procedure and AmCham members are invited to send comments by May 25.
