AmCham members are invited to comment on Draft Amendment Act on Public Procurement

American Chamber of Commerce in the Czech Republic is a member of the Platform for Transparent Public Procurement. In May 2010, the Platform officially endorsed 39 principles to improve efficiency and transparency of public procurement in the Czech Republic. Platform members pledged to help incorporate these measures into the new amendment Act on Public Procurement that was to be drafted by the Ministry for Regional Development after general elections in May 2010. Among Platform members are representatives of ministries and other relevant authorities, such as the Office for the Protection of Competition, major politicial parties, associations, chambers of commerce, Labor Unions and NGOs, for example.
