Labor Code Committee is working towards finalization of its Position Paper
AmCham's Labor Code Committee met today to make one step closer to finalizing its position paper on Labor Code. Manufacturers are invited to join the working group, bring in their ideas and discuss issues that, in their view, should be dealt with in the final document presented to public authorities.
The draft position paper addresses issues such as managers' overtime work, non-compete and non-solicitation clauses, the length of probation period, termination of employment and employment disputes before court, employee liability for damage, and secondment, for example. Mr. Ladislav Smejkal of White & Case was elected a chair and Ms. Milena Jaburkova of IBM a vice-chair of the Committee.
