Public Procurement Act Amendment
Amendment to Public Procurement Act in which AmCham took an active role in shaping its final wording has been submitted to the Parliament.
Main goals of the amendment are the overall simplification and transparency of procedures. This should be achieved by changes concerning bellow the threshold public contracts, introduction of qualification assessment protocol, right of the Office for Protection of Economic Competition to ban a discharge of the contract or by introducing of register of persons banned from participation in award of public contracts.
