Bohemia Jazz Fest has quickly become one of the largest summer music festivals in Europe. The festival started in 2006 by acclaimed jazz guitarist Rudy Linka, who wanted to present and promote world-class jazz in the Czech Republic. By 2010 it was drawing more than 70,000 jazz fans to historic town squares throughout the country, making a significant economic impact.
