New office concepts are created and are tailored towards specific company cultures, work processes and business needs. Office space is strategically used as a tool to increase revenues, lower costs, attract and retain talent or to simply increase employees´ happiness and their productivity. Microsoft is one of the leaders in creating appropriately designed and provisioned work environments for their offices around the world. In Prague, Microsoft will relocate their headquarters at the start of October 2015. Their unique Workplace Advantage program will be applied which goal is to enable innovation and effectiveness for their employees and business. Douglas Lowrie - Regional Workplace Strategist EMEA at Microsoft - will speak about Microsoft´s unique and leading approach to workplace design. Through his experience across EMEA and recently in the Czech Republic, he will share valuable insights as to how to create office space that fully support business needs and how we in the Czech Republic are different (or maybe not). The venue of the event will be the new, innovative, activity-based offices of Philips in Karlín which are in line with their global Workplace Innovation program. Philips´ Marketing Manager for CZ, SK and HU - Boris Zupančič - will share experiences in their new offices and why they decided for this radical change. Guided tours of the office space will be provided at the end of the event. Questions and answers will be moderated by Bert Hesselink - Operations Director at CBRE. CBRE also introduced an innovative, activity-based office concept in the Czech Republic which is called Workplace360. The concept was implemented in 2013 and the first results are visible, have been measured and include a mix of hard and soft benefits.
