DESCRIPTION: We are only seeing the first signs of an overall recovery of the Czech economy. Nevertheless, the industrial real estate market in the Czech Republic is booming already. Established companies are expanding and new investors are at a large scale setting up new manufacturing and logistics facilities across the country. On top of that, real estate investors are now more keen on investing into industrial real estate than ever before. Why do manufacturing and logistics businesses like the Czech Republic so much (or why not)? What regions are they interested in and why? What are they looking for? Which incentives schemes are available to companies now and in the future? What are the latest trends in design and development of manufacturing and logistics properties? What are the benefits of leasing versus owning and vice versa? How good and attractive is the Czech labour force to companies? Why are real estate investors pooring money into industrial real estate? Etc. All of these topics and much more will be presented and discussed in a workshop organized by AmCham´s real estate committee.
