Former White House chief ethics officer Norman Eisen is now US Ambassador to the Czech Republic. Eisen received his credentials last month and is already using his abundant energy, experience, and network to advance the cause of good governance. The AmCham is honored to organize the first of what will likely be many events with Ambassador Eisen. The subject of the gathering is how good governance can be a competitive advantage. The Ambassador will describe the Obama administration’s attempts to improve the transparency and effectiveness of government: His speech will be followed by the panel discussion how good governance could improve economic performance of the Czech Republic, including a report on the activities of the Platform for Transparent Public Procurement.
