What

The seminar will focus on relevant changes in the Czech legislation concerning employment of foreigners (3rd country nationals), consequences of illegal employment, relevant increase of the limit for health insurance coverage and new responsibilities of employers regarding its foreign employees. Changes in the Czech immigration law will mean, to a certain extent, larger administrative burden. Foreigners will be obliged to appear in person in front of authorities several times in order to obtain/extend the permit, for example. As of May 2011 foreigners (3rd country nationals) will have to provide authorities with their fingerprints - everytime when legalizing their stay in the Czech Republic, for example. During the seminar speakers will briefly explain the rules on obtaining Blue card and advantages of this project which is stipulated by the EU legislation. Blue card program might be a solution for employers who intend to employ highly qualified professionals. The reason for planned changes is to implement necessary EU directives and other relevant legal acts. At the moment, the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic is discussing changing proposals by the Senate. Please, register via www.amcham.cz. The seminar will be held in Czech.
