Roundtable with Finance Ministry on International Accounting Standards

Ministry of Finance has addressed AmCham with a request to provide expert consultation on the issue concerning corporations listed on a regulated securities market in the ČR or other EU member state (please, see the attached letter). Such corporations are obliged to keep books and put together the statement of balances according to International Accounting Standards (IAS/IFRS). Pursuant to the Act on Income Taxes, they also (concurrently) have to keep books according to the Czech law (Act on Accounting and related legal enactments). A discussion roundtable with representatives of the Ministry of Finance, Department for Accounting and Audit, will take place on February 21, 9 – 11 am. The event is held in Czech language.
