Ministry for Regional Development is gathering input on a planned amendment to the Public Procurement Act and Concession Act. Both amendments are to be submitted to the government by October 2008. Jiří Svoboda of the Public Procurement Department of the Ministry will come to brief members on the intended scope of the amendment. We would like to encourage you to get involved at an early stage and possibly communicate to the Ministry your experience with the practical application of both acts. If issues of concern arise from the discussion, AmCham will set up a task force and advocate members´ suggested solutions. The event is held in Czech.
