Since March 2020 the Covid-19 has reshaped the market for office space globally and made many companies to reconsider their approach to home offices and their plans to lease additional office space. With uncertain economic outlook and with most of their employees working from home, they had to adopt different strategies - to keep their office space for their staff to come fully or partly back in the "next normal" future, to cancel part of their work space or to offer it to external parties on a sublet basis. Have the homeoffice model and empty offices worked for the employers at all? And has it worked for their employees? Has their approach been reconsidered in 2021? Are the employees more willing to come back to the office after a year of home-lockdown? Will the employers change their policy once the vaccination phase is over? 

Together with Blanka Vackova and Vendula Blahova from JLL, Lena Popova from BNP Paribas Real Estate, Rebecca Grattan from Avast and Petr Janu from Badokh we will address the current office market development in an online session of the Real Estate Council.
