The magnitude of this task should not be overlooked as it often implies the integration of new perspectives and personal transformation. Global leaders engage their workforce, unleash human potential, and elicit sustainable high performance, enabling organizations to thrive in today's global arena. They are able to build unity in diversity and to navigate across disciplines. They achieve superior business results while pursuing a higher purpose that includes social and environmental goals. Global leaders are innovative in meeting society's needs. In this session, participants will learn about a new holistic leadership development approach that calls upon multiple perspectives (physical, managerial, psychological, political, cultural and spiritual) to achieve sustainable progress and meaningful success. Global coaching is for leadership, team and organizational development, to serve multiple stakeholders and the world at large. In this half-a-day introduction to “Global Coaching” participants will: · Learn how to increase their effectiveness by considering multiple perspectives in their leadership; · Discover creative solutions to address complex and multidimensional challenges; · Gain higher levels of self-awareness and personal fulfillment while enhancing their positive impact on others; · Learn about the Cultural Orientations Framework (COF) assessment and how the tool can be used to promote individual, team and organizational development. · Learn how to foster full engagement and inner motivation in their company’s workforce. · Discover how to shift from the mechanistic/simplicity paradigm to the emerging holographic/complexity/organic worldview, and consider the implications for leading in our interconnected world. Outline: · Brief introduction - Give and Get: A chance for participants to voice expectations for the session as well how they are prepared to contribute to its success. The half-a-day seminar can be adjusted accordingly. · Introduction to Global Coaching - Defining coaching (as a leadership outlook) as a holistic approach that calls upon multiple interconnected perspectives to facilitate the unleashing of human potential toward meaningful pursuitss · Participant’s challenges: This will allow participants to then connect the various notions and perspectives to their concrete situations. · Multiple perspectives model: physical, managerial, psychological, political, cultural and spiritual. Presentation of the various perspectives and how these can be called upon to increase leadership effectiveness. · Ten crucial leadership qualities: multiple-perspectives outlook, doing well by doing good, authenticity, health and fitness, results-orientation, emotional and relational competences, political know-how, cultural inclusiveness, spiritual awakening, and deep interconnectedness. The presentation is also a chance to highlight the global leadership qualities increasingly important in today’s context and concrete ways to develop these qualities. · Participants then examine the perspectives they might be currently overlooking and the qualities they would like to develop further. Participants discuss their opportunities for tackling their complex challenges in fresh ways. · Holographic/complexity/organic worldview. Participants will learn about the emerging paradigm and ponder the implications for leadership in the 21st century.
