What

Some of the great giants of business innovation have been legendary for “going with their gut”: basing decisions on a feeling or “instinct”. Modern technology is rapidly giving businesses the ability to test “the gut” or, in some minds, replace it through comprehensive data collection and analysis. The danger to all business is that big data and great gut are viewed as exclusive. The challenge is to find how to serve ideas with market-drive knowledge. How does today’s manager move from idea to innovation using the combination of idea and intelligence? In other words, how does a company systematically develop the great gut instinct needed in increasingly competitive industries?
