Let us invite you for a roundtable debate Can Europe’s energy mix fix the planet? with Filip Schittecatte of ExxonMobil who will discuss how Europe's energy mix will change in the coming years, and the effectiveness of measures to make our lives more carbon efficient on November 4 at 9.00-10.30, at AmCham, Dusni 10, Praha 1.
The Czech Republic and Europe face an existential challenge. The continued prosperity of its citizens depends on expanding the economy. The safety of humanity requires a dramatic reduction in carbon emissions. The scientific and managerial challenge? To achieve economic growth while simultaneously reducing the carbon intensity of each unit of GDP.
