On November 22, 9-11 a.m., AmCham hosts a discussion roundable on the new pharmaceuticals and health care legislation. Deputy Health Minister Hroboň and Director of the Ministry’s Pharmacy Department Šroub will discuss the recent changes in the Act no. 48/1997 Coll. and the decrees on reference groups sent by the Ministry for inter-ministerial comments last week. Director of State Institute for Drug Control (SÚKL) Beneš will address SÚKL’s policies in the areas of pharmaceuticals’ registration, price-setting and reimbursement after January 1 when his office takes over the competencies so-far exercised by the Health Ministry. Any other question raised by AmCham members in the discussion following the gentlemen’s presentation will likewise be answered. Beneše nahrazuje Mgr.
