What
Covid forced people to change their behavior overnight. The shift quaked many sectors of the economy, such as hotels. Government subsidies based on government debt reduced the shock. Now, with vaccines and looser restrictions, some behaviors are snapping back to 2019. the supplies needed to serve those habits, however, are struggling to meet the surge in demand. How much do current prices represent a temporary situation in the market? How much do they reflect trends that will last beyond the virus. AmCham Vice-President Michal Nebesky of Citibank and CNB vice-governor Tomas Nidetzky will lead a discussion on covid's impact on the macroeconomy.
