AmCham cordially invites you to our first meeting of Brno Technology and R&D Committee Date: January 15, 2016 from 10:30am- 12.00(noon) Location: Brno member - Y Soft - Technická 13, Brno Who should attend: Technology/IT an R&D directors, managers ----------------------------- The purpose of AmCham committees is to share members´best practices and to point out, monitor and pursue the advocacy issues relevant for the sector. Join us to discuss vision and priorities, possible future economic development of Brno and other initiatives. AGENDA: 1/ Welcome & Members Introduction 2/ AmCham Letter on strategy: http://www.amcham.cz/files/files/2016LetteronStrategy%28English-Public%29.pdf (especially page 4-5) - relevant to IT/Technology and R&D Committee: Prague -- Brno -- Ostrava Creative Triangle. The country has produced several national economic strate gies and city development plans. As of today, the two have never been combined. Since cities tend to be the source of economic innovation and growth, the next economic plan should incorporate cities and regions into the national agenda. With their attractiveness to businesses and youthful talent, Prague and Brno could become one of the world’s most attractive regions for creative companies.
