Brainstorming Session on Czech Office for Protection of Competition

Discussion will focus on the Office´s practices and what can be improved in its interaction with the private sector. This initiative is a part of the AmCham’s broader project of Procedural Guidelines for Regulators. So far, the Czech Telecommunications Office, Office for Protection of Personal Data and Office for Protection of Competition have preliminary agreed to participate and asked AmCham to come up with specific requirements. Please see a more detailed description of the project attached. As regards Office for Protection of Competition, we have also agreed with Mr. Rudolecký, Deputy Chairman of the Office, to hold seminars featuring competent officers at AmCham on issues of interest identified by AmCham members. Identification of the issues (possibly also input on problematic areas) will be another part of the brainstorming session’s agenda. The meeting is held on September 18, 9 – 11 am at AmCham offices at Dušní 10, Prague 1. The event is held in Czech language.
