“NO TIME, NO TIME” How often do we hear people complaining about this? Fairly boring it is too. So if you have no time to get things done, why are you not getting someone else to do it? In other words DELEGATING? And if you are delegating, are you doing it effectively? Not only does effective delegation free you up to do the things which only you can do, but it also liberates you to do other things you want to do - play golf, read books, meet the children, take holidays (without checking emails every five minutes) - whatever it is. PLUS delegating to colleagues gets them involved/motivated/productive - and helps them grow. Oh yes, and people who can’t delegate often end up with BURN-OUT. At least, ambitious people and you are presumably one of those. If you think you have no time and don’t delegate as effectively as you could, come along to a short workshop to share your difficulties and to pick up some tips. Last point, unless you are truly a delegater par excellence, don’t delegate this!
