Networking
We facilitate senior management networking. Active members connect with fellow business leaders to shape commercial policy, exchange best management practice, and build a better knowledge of the Czech market. Leadership Cocktails allow you to meet informally with your peers and key political representatives. Our CEO Talks feature top executives who have introduced new management practices into their organizations; Thought Leadership Series publishes interviews with leading managers. Speaker Series puts senior managers in direct contact with key policymakers from the public sector. And Thanksgiving Ball is a great opportunity for market leaders to show its appreciation to key clients and partners.
Members involvement: Members are entitled to participate in hundred networking activities during membership year, nominate its business leaders to share experience and present best practices within Amcham membership.

Members involvement: Members are welcomed to present their company news and promote its services through sponsorship or advertisements in a wide range of AmCham promotional tools.

Legal & Regulatory Improvement
Legal Reform team identifies and responds to issues of concern to the business community that can be resolved by a legislative & regulatory change. Based on your input, we comment and propose new laws, amendments or position papers and advocate them with the government and parliament. Our track record for advocating major reform- such as Commercial Registry reform, the new Bankruptcy Act or judicial training in economic aspects of ruling – remains 100%. Our current priority issues are Labor Code Amendment, Act on e-Government, social security caps, thin capitalization, overhauls of Civil and Commercial Codes, implementation of the new Bankruptcy Act. AmCham Roundtables put government relations managers at the table with key shapers of public policy.
Member involvement: Members can approach the AmCham staff with their company’s issue and use AmCham as a mean of legitimate lobbying towards the Czech government, central state agencies, industry regulators, and Parliament. They can also initiate establishment of a member working group or join an existing one. Building Economic Infrastructure
Our Economic Development team focuses on identifying and building the economic infrastructure. We help promote key growth sectors of the economy, such as convention tourism in Prague and venture capital for small and mid-size business. And we work with national, regional and municipal governments to build physical and human resource infrastructure that will create more economic opportunity.
Members involvement: Members work with the AmCham to identify and promote key physical infrastructure projects and human resource initiatives, particularly in the area of university and vocational education.
