Getting Things Done_workshop held on Apr27_outcome
The Getting Things Done method rests on the idea that a person needs to move tasks out of the mind by recording them externally. So the mind is free from the job of remembering the tasks that need to be completed. One can concentrate on performing the tasks, instead of remembering.

Minutes of HR Committee held on Apr 27
AmCham HR Committee met to discuss and plan upcoming activities, preferably preparation of 2012 Best Office publication. Complete minutes can be found attached.
With regard to Best Office publication members of the committee or other volunteers are asked to (before May 25):
- Opening text - Send proposals of people who might give an umbrella to the whole section; inspirational person who will persuade readers to read the whole HR section. Doesn´t need to be a rep or member company.
- Efficiency checklist - To send comments to the proposed checklist which is attached.
- Recognized best practices - To send suggestions of up to 3 case studies.
- Interviews - To send proposals of interesting people building innovative organization that could be interviewed or proposals of topics that should be covered in interviews.

Members of Marketing Committee met to discuss and plan upcoming activities, preferably May´s seminar and 2012 Best Office publication. The Committee is responsible for putting togehter Business Development section and its members are asked to come up with ideas and proposals. AmCham held the discussion on Web/VideoConferencing. Following aspects were touched: Psychological aspects of Remote Communications, How to Integrate Technology into Your Office, Getting the Most from Your Technology: Using the Language Style, Why is it so Important for People to Meet Face-to-Face?
Available Technologies and Solutions and also best practices were discussed.
