AmCham memebrs can download a brand new study on creating shared value – the idea that AmCham considers to be the key factor to customer and employee loyalty in the future. We believe it will shape strategies for sustainable revenues and shareholder commitment.
The study is a Czech translation of Creating Shared Value: A How-to Guide for the New Corporate (R)evolution published by FSG in 2011. FSG is a nonprofit consulting firm specializing in strategy, evaluation, and research, founded in 2000 by Michael E. Porter - Professor at the Harvard Business School and a leading international authority on strategy, who claims that what’s happening now, is “really a redefinition of the boundaries of capitalism. Creating shared value is the next stage of evolution in the sophistication of the capitalist model.”

The buzzword in the marketing industry nowadays is efficiency, meaning how to create and manage a marketing campaign that delivers tangible ROI. Social and digital media should be a marketers dream tool, right. Never before have we been privy to such a range of tools that help us to measure and analyse, micro-target, and peek into the minds of potential customers. But the question remains: how well do marketeres really use the tools available today? Do we really understand the responsibilities of social media marketing. The customer dialogue has moved on, have marketers fully moved on, too?

Minutes from Marketing Committee held on November 27, Outcome from brainstorming session of marketing experts
AmCham Marketing Committee met to discuss and plan upcoming activities. In the second part of the meeting the brainstorming session of marketing experts took part. The purpose was to discuss and come up with the possible topic for 2013.

AmCham HR Committee met to discuss and plan upcoming events and activities. New chairperson of HR Committee for 2013 was appointed - Ms. Irena Staňková of SOPHISTO. Congratulations!
Next HR Committee meeting will be held on January 25, 2013 (9am, AmCham offices).

• an individual, employee of AmCham member company can be nominated by other member or can nominate himself/herself;

• nominees are requested to provide their ideas for running and development of the committee (approx. 200 words).
