Corporate Social Responsibility Committee met to discuss cooperation with NGO Market
The Committee meeting held on January 12 was devoted to a discussion about possible cooperation of AmCham and NGO Market.
AmCham will work with the NGO Market and a) help with organizing a discussion on cooperation between private sector and NGOs, and b) the chamber will support the Good Business event, that should facilitate deals between companies and NGOs. For more information please see the Minutes attached.

2012 Marketing Committee Chairman Elections_Results
Based on results of AmCham Marketing Committee chairman elections Ms. CRISTINA MUNTEAN of Media Education CEE was elected and approved by AmCham Board of Directors to serve as the Marketing Committee chairwoman for 2012. Congratulations.
Cristina will chair Marketing Committee for the first time on January 25th, 9-10.30am at AmCham offices where she´ll share her plans and ideas for the development of the Committee in 2012. All members working or interested in Marketing & Communication are welcome to join the committee meeting.

Seminar on How to Plan an Effective Marketing/Communications Strategy held on November 8, 2011
The aim of this workshop was to provide interested AmCham members detailed information on new approaches and tools for managing successful marketing and communications strategies for their companies. The workshop consisted of two parts: an initial theoretical session led and a practical session featuring sample case studies on successes and challenges in managing corporate/organizational communications and marketing.

Starting January 2012 – AmCham Marketing Committee will be run by elected chaiman/chairwoman.
Starting October 31st, 2011 until November 22nd, 2011 nominations are open:
- an individual, employee of AmCham member company can be nominated by other member or can nominate himself/herself;
- nominations can be sent to Lucie Vrbová at lvrbova@amcham.cz;
- nominees are requested to provide their summary (300 words description of their past experience) and ideas for running and development of the committee (approx. 300 words).
