1. Introduction of new co-chair of the HR Committee – Katka Benešová
2. Report on recent activities:
a) HR seminar featuring Petr Draxler, Country HR Leader, and Igor Požár, HR Partner, IBM, was held on January 10, 2008 at IBM Global Services Delivery Center in Brno. Speakers informed attendees about talent management, university-private sector partnership and co-operation and diversity management in IBM...Number of attendees: 11
b) CEO Talks with Aleš Bartůněk, CEO of IBM – number of attendees: 30
3. Activities for this year:
a) CEO Talks with Olga Girstlová, GiTy – tentative date: beginning of March, CEO Talks with Ron Adams, Chairman/CEO of Tatra – tentative date: end of February, Mike Short, Managing Director of Plzeňský Prazdroj, Jane Gilson of Microsoft
b) HR seminars – Vera Budway-Štrobach of Česká Spořitelna (Corporate Culture and Value), Radek Maršík of Fleishman-Hillard (Crisis Communication), Patrik Schober of Pram Consulting and Frans Hoekman of Hudson accepted invitation to HR Committee to discuss possible topic and structure of their workshop/seminars.
c) Planned tours at companies – Tatra – tentative date: end of February/beginning of March, DHL (global center), Sun Microsystems (new technologies), Google (new technologies), Foxconn (Asian company), TPCA (Asian company), Plzeňský Prazdroj, ČSA, Vodafone, Telefónica O2 Czech Republic, a.s., Škoda Auto a.s., Skype, Hyundai
