5 June: Research and Development roundtable, 2pm-4pm

Main areas to discuss:
- Prague as the alchemist of new products and services
- Harness public research to national goals
- Reshape research and development policy
- Develop world class faculties in priority areas

Prague has the potential to become the economic hub of Central Europe, and the gateway not only to European and the Slavic markets, or investment into the rest of the country, but also to new products and services based on technology and creativity. In recognition of this potential, AmCham has initiated its Threshold City project, which will focus on turning the Prague’s potential as an economic threshold into a reality. This project has four main pathways:

- Research and Development
- Company Headquarters
- Health care
- Tourism

6 June: Company Headquarters roundtable, 2pm-4pm
Main areas to discuss:
- Attracting the best and brightest employees within international business
- Develop Prague’s public and private infrastructure for world class business centre
- One degree of separation from other centers of business - Prague Airport
- Support the creation of the middle class

7 June: Health care roundtable, 2pm-4pm
Main areas to discuss:
- Identify health care sectors that could attract foreign patients
- Set clear objectives for health care policy

12 June: Tourism roundtable, 2pm-4pm
Main areas to discuss:
- Set clear objectives for tourism statistics
- Have one image, one message broadcast through multiple distribution channels
- Design a MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Congresses and Exhibition) strategy and support it
- Major International Events that generate return tourism
