7th Regional Tax Conference will be held on March 6, 2012, in Prague

7th Regional Tax Conference, this year hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce in the Czech Republic, will be held on March 6, 2012, in Prague, Czech Republic. The annual tax conference brings together experts from around the CEE region to discuss the results of past reforms and debate the merits of planned reforms at the national and European level.

The conference will be attended by businesspeople and both public and private sectors’ tax experts working in Central Europe. Tentative program with the invitation is attached.

Topic: How have reforms been affected by the financial crisis?
- 10 minute presentation on current and planned reforms
- Key questions: Has the ability to predict how reforms will influence economy decreased as markets have become more volatile? How elastic is household consumption and export industry to increased taxation?
