WHITE & CASE NAMED LAW FIRM OF THE YEAR
On November 8, the festive award ceremony for this year’s Chambers Global Awards was held at the Hilton Park Lane Hotel in London.
The Chambers Global Awards are bestowed by the British publishing house Chambers and Partners.

For 2007, White & Case takes home the accolade “Eastern Europe Law Firm of the Year”, thus building on its success last year, when the firm was awarded the title “Client Service Firm of the Year”. In this year’s competition, White & Case prevailed over six rivals from the ranks of other international law firms with a presence in Central and Eastern Europe.
Jan Matějček, the Managing Partner of the Prague office of White & Case, said: “This award means a lot to us, because it is based on an independent review of the quality of law firms that looks not only at the work we’ve put in during the last 12 months, but above all at the satisfaction of our clients and the recommendations by our direct competitors. Since 1990, our firm has been extremely committed to the CEE Region. It was not easy to build a fully functional network of offices that would provide quality services at the same high level in all countries within the CEE Region. We succeeded in meeting this goal, and we are happy to see expanding Czech businesses now making use of these benefits throughout the region.“
Since 1969, the British publishing house Chambers and Partners has been issuing an independent publication in which the quality of legal services in various jurisdictions around the world is evaluated. Every year, Chambers and Partners hosts an annual award ceremony in London and New York in recognition of the successes of the best law firms in various fields of law , worldwide. The Chambers Global Award is one of the most prestigious prizes that a law firm can hope to achieve internationally.
