Dragon Boat race on the Vltava in Prague
On June 1 at Smichovská pláž, Rotary Club Prague International is organising its fourth annual Dragon Boat Charity Challenge.
This year it is being held on International Children’s Day and special activities are being included for children as well as a science demonstration, a live theatre performance, live music and a chance for children old enough to try paddling in a dragon boat.
This is a great team-building event as well as a great day out for families. Proceeds of the event will support two major local charities that provide much-needed services to children and the elderly in need; ŽIVOT 90 and Nadace Naše dítě.

Six days prior the 2012 elections, four students of Czech universities (two representing Republicans and two Democrats) will test their knowledge and argumentative skills in a debate on various issues - ranging from state of the economy through fiscal challenges, defence spending and Iranian nuclear program to controversial social issues such as separation of church and state, abortions or same-sex marriage.
