AmCham in Brief
American Chamber of Commerce in the Czech Republic - one of the largest and most active business chambers in the Czech Republic – connects more 1600 top executives and company owners representing 461 companies and advocates policies which increase the economic competitiveness of the Czech Republic. Our member network spans industries, sizes and nationalities and allows top decision-makers in the public and private sector an opportunity to discuss economic policy and stay abreast of market developments. Our advocacy work- split into legal reform and economic development- has helped shape major policies such as investment incentives, bankruptcy, and the commercial registry. Chamber is a non-profit, non-government organization independent of any external guidelines.
AmCham is a member of the US Chamber of Commerce and the European Council of American Chambers of Commerce (ECACC).
The 35 Chambers belonging to ECACC represent over 17,000 companies that employ 20 million people in Europe and the USA.
